The Cottage Facilities
The bungalow has accommodation for up to four in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is a bathroom (bath with shower over, wash basin and WC) and a pleasant living room which has a television with Sky Freeview, video, and a woodburning stove. A south-facing lounge overlooks the garden and adjoining woods, with a door that opens directly onto the patio. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen (with washing machine, tumble drier and spin drier in a separate outhouse).
The Living Room
Cooking and heating are all electric and this is included in the rental but there is also a woodburning stove in the living room that can be used to provide extra warmth and homeliness if desired. All the furnishings and fittings are to a good standard.
The garden is a large, sloping field which is kept to short grass, surrounded by natural hedge and trees, with a stream running in a hollow at the bottom. The natural stone patio with picnic table faces south and the bird table located there attracts a wonderful assortment of birds.
The car parking space at the top of the garden can comfortably accommodate two cars. From here a paved path leads down about twenty yards to the bungalow. The property is surrounded by farm fields on two sides, the stream and woods on one side, and the approach lane and fields on the fourth.

General Information
Electricity is included in the price. You can light the woodburning stove if it gets chilly, however the lounge is south-facing and gets lovely and warm in the sun.
Because we do not live in the locality, we cannot provide bed linen or towels, so you should bring your own. We do, however, have a local cleaner.
Please send a deposit of £100 per week to secure the dates. This will be refunded upon the return of the keys (assuming that there are no serious breakages). The rental should be paid in full, six weeks before the start of your holiday.
Short breaks may be available out of season or at short notice. Please ask for details.
Pets can be accepted by arrangement only and with an additional fee of £30 per week. We are sorry but we cannot accept puppies.
